The Freedom Tower is out. One World Trade Center is in.

The agency that owns the site says that the signature 1,776-foot skyscraper replacing the towers destroyed on Sept. 11, 2001, will be known as One World Trade Center.

"As we market the building, we will ensure that it is presented in the best possible way — and 1 World Trade Center is the address that we're using," said Coscia.

"It's the one that is easiest for people to identify with — and frankly, we've gotten a very interested and warm reception to it."

This is a neat little trick I saw in the movie "What happens in Vegas" starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. I found this picture today online and would like to give it a shot. Anyone ever attempt it before?

UPDATE (L8N): He's out.

Sources are telling WHAS11’s Kyle Draper and Danielle Santoro that Billy Gillispie will not be returning as the head coach of Kentucky next year.

After WHAS11 broke the story around 9:30 P.M., UK’s Sports Information Department issued a statement saying:

“UK men’s basketball coach Billy Gillispie has not been fired. There have been no meetings between Gillispie and UK officials today and there is no scheduled press conference for tomorrow.”

Again, WHAS11’s sources are saying Billy Gillispie will not be the head coach of the Kentucky men’s basketball team next year.

So is he, or isn't he --- ESPN's take on Gillespie's status: Unclear.

Hard to say whats going on here. When it's all out in the open - we'll post more.

Interesting take on this from TheMarchToMadness.com

We've never wanted a car so badly. The just-unveiled Tesla Model S ($50,000 after tax breaks) is literally the reinvention of the automobile. This electric sedan will offer a 300-mile range and 45-minute QuickCharge capability, all while sporting some of the most beautiful styling you'll find. With seating for five adults and two children, the Model S has it all. Its powertrain includes a liquid-cooled 9-inch motor combined with a single-speed gearbox (just gun it — no shifting required) that's good for a 0-60 time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 120 mph. It offers a 5-minute battery swap and charges from any outlet, with charges costing as little as $4 to "fill up." Features include (taking deep breath) a 17-inch infotainment touchscreen with all-time 3G connectivity, 21-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, panoramic roof with sliding moon roof, retracting door handles, a hatch for large items and a 2nd trunk under the hood, a fully digital instrument cluster, LED and neon headlight and taillights, and a pretty crazy RFID keyless entry and ignition system. Sadly, this beauty won't go into production until 2011. It's going to be a long two years.

Pretty good looking and a great concept with the electric. We're sure to see more of these in the future.
